Have you started seeing these EVERYWHERE? They’re called QR Codes  or Quick Response codes. If you have a smart phone you scan the code (square) with your phone and it immediately takes you to a website or a message.

I’ve been scanning them for awhile, but just recently I attended a seminar on them that was part of Nashville’s POD CAMP. Irene Williams discussed how her company, QRHere is helping small business use QR codes in marketing. Pretty interesting stuff. Her slide presentation is below. There is a ton of good information and sites to help you build your own codes in the presentation! Find your scanner app, build your code and understand the history – all in one presentation! Cool!!

Mobile Tag Youre It! By QRHere

Thanks for the presentation Irene and I can’t wait to start using my own codes! (try scanning this one)
