Love-Based Culture —The 10 Principles of a Love-Based Culture: How Authentic Business Leaders Trust Their Employees to Do the Right Thing, by Ivo Nelson – The no-brainer steps to a LOVE-BASED CULTURE were formed from Ivo’s experiences as CEO of Healthlink, which, along with contributing author and COO Dana Sellers, he propelled into the world’s largest privately held, provider focused healthcare technology consulting firm. By cultivating a love-based culture, Healthlink enjoyed a 13-year streak of 100% positive customer referrals and became KLAS #1 ranked consulting firm in healthcare.
This author contacted me in October of 2018 to help him design and publish his first book in the spring of 2019. I knew he was a serious author when he told me he was building a launch team. So many first time authors don’t realize the hard work is NOT writing the book, but the marketing of the book long term.
Even more impressive was the fact he knew it was important to have the book read by his peers before the final production. This extra step provides great feed back before sending to be produced.
We worked hand in hand with Ivo’s editor, Jessica Hatch of Hatch-Books. She provided Ivo with structural and copy editing. I loved working with Jessica as she provided such a professional result which allowed me to focus on the production of the book. I highly recommend her work!
Ivo hired my team to do the following:
- Create Concept Illustrations in the format of simple black and white images. The drawings were hand drawn and scanned into the computer to create a digital file.
- Design Book Cover, full print version with front, back and spine, single front cover for book distribution, plus mock-ups for marketing, ISBN and Bar Code included.
- Interior Book Layout with multiple style changes, end notes, bibliography, illustrations, TOC and marketing pages in the back
- ISBN + Print Management – Assistance with Bowker ISBN setup and bar code creation, plus assistance with book upload on Ingram-Spark Self-Publishing Platform
- eBook Creation with live links in the bibliography and end notes
