I had a networking meeting yesterday. I try to attend a different group once a week as time and projects permit. It’s refreshing to meet together with other small business people, it’s a great way to recharge the entrepreneurial battery. A good networking group offers each other support, suggestions and encouragement. Consistent, positive  networking leads to trust and trust builds great business!

Make Your Contacts Count

The network group I met with last week specifically discussed the art of networking – Networking to Achieve Bottom Line Results.  The speaker, Paula Behm of Careers by Design, highly recommended the book Make Your Contacts Count, by Anne Baber and Lynne Waymon.

I’ve been networking a long time, but Paula gave me some great ideas I plan on implementing this year.
