CLIENT STORY
Amy Metz Williams connected with us after the Atlanta Business Boutique event. Her story of God’s wonderful plan of adoption is told through the sweet drawings of illustrator, Ketura Lee Mattingly. When we met Amy had the story and drawings complete – but didn’t know how to put them together into a book format or how to work with a self-publishing company. Becky’s been working with self-published authors since 2005 and understand the process very well. Amy was thrilled to see her vision come to fruition and is now selling her book and coloring book on her site CustomMadeKid.com
PROJECT SCOPE
This project was one the perfect example of creativity with purpose. We loved getting the gorgeous illustrations and finding the perfect place for the words to fit in the layout of the book. Becky started with setting up the book with text, and then carefully placed the illustrations into the book. Amy had her illustrator leave “easter eggs” in each image, so Becky took great care to have as much of the illustration visible as possible.
