Margarita and the Beautiful Gifts

CLIENT STORY:

Janet of Timber Creek Farmer contacted us through the form on our website with quite a story already. We were her third designer, and while she had plenty of illustrations and a completed story, she was far from having a finished product. This was Janet’s first book, and we were thrilled to have been able to make a finalized product ready for gift-giving by Christmas!

PROJECT SCOPE:

While the story was complete and the illustrations were done, they weren’t organized into a storyboard. The illustrator’s precious images had been created independently from the story itself. So, our work revolved around splitting the text into pages and pairing the most appropriate illustrations with the text. We did quite a bit of work in photoshop to edit the images, and then laid out the book in InDesign.
