5 pasos para desarrollar en casa el amor por la música

CLIENT STORY:

Earlier this year, author Christine Goodner came to us to help her reformat and self-publish her music book, Positive Practice into Spanish. Her book encourages parents of music students and teaches simple strategies to keep students motivated, and she knew she could reach a larger audience with a version in Spanish.

PROJECT SCOPE:

This wasn’t the first book we formatted into Spanish, so we were aware of the challenges. Christine provided the translation of the book in a Word document. We requested the final InDesign files of the English version and made sure we could open them with ease and the fonts and links were included. Reformatting a book in another language has its challenges. We often have to readjust font size to meet the additional characters needed for headers and body text. We also found the cover layout needed adjustment due to the translation of the title and subtitle, but it’s very close to the English version and doesn’t stray from her established branding.
