Meet Grandpa. He delights in telling a story or two to get Anthony’s imagination going. All it takes is a walk around the backyard together to stimulate Anthony’s questions.
As the story unfolds, Anthony feels driven to create a roomful of detailed and surprising drawings.
Anthony and Grandpa together create an imaginary adventure that will entertain both adults and children.

Artist Antonia Pylaeva created beautiful illustrations of the characters in If Grandpas Grew Like Trees. She said she felt a little challenged when creating the stick figures that a six-year-old would draw, but she succeeded in drawing stick figures that have more personality than you would imagine.
